Grand Trine Designs
was born on a rickety folding table in Megan's a backyard. In the heat of the summer, she spent all her free time teaching herself how to work with epoxy resin. It quickly became apparent that not only was working with epoxy not healthy or sustainable for her, but that she didn't feel good about the amount of plastic waste she was putting into the world. That's when Megan shifted her focus to building an environmentally friendly brand. Using eco-resin, she has been able to combine her love of art, gardening, and house plants with her love and appreciation for the world around her.
Megan Ahern
is a Staten Islander who has had her hands covered in paint since birth. After years of being in roles where she was helping others build their dreams and reach their goals, Megan decided it was finally time to focus on her own passions. She built GTD with the hopes that she could create fun, vibrant designs that spread a little joy while offering a part of her heart along with it.
Handmade Wares
Every item we offer is cast, sanded, and polished by hand, making each piece a one-of-a-kind work of art created just for you.
Made with Eco-Resin
Our handmade offerings are made with eco-resin, a mineral-based resin that is less than 10% plastic. It is sustainably produced and indefinitely reusable, making it an environmentally conscious alternative to epoxy resin that you can feel good about.
Sustainable packaging
To avoid adding more waste to landfills, we create new items from any excess or damaged eco-resin made during production. To take things one step further, 90% of our packing materials are reused, recyclable, compostable, or donated from local businesses.
